Maybe now we can stop reading the Tea Party’s obituary? The 2012 election cycle has proven that, at least in Texas, the movement is alive and well.
Almost since the first Tea Party event, the establishment talking heads have been telling us that it was a passing political fad, just the product of a vocal few. Perhaps it was in the beginning, but not anymore. The Tea Party has matured, quickly, into a force which with politicians must not trifle.
Just ask the electoral cast-offs up and down the ballot. With very few exceptions, the conservative, grassroots-oriented, tea-party candidate carried the run-off.(Read More)
