A traditional marriage advocate says Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus must go after “joining forces” with others in warring against biblical values.
In a recent column posted on his website, Dr. Ken Hutcherson – senior pastor of Antioch Bible Church near Seattle – challenges Christians in the GOP to demand that Priebus resign from his leadership role. “His failures outnumber his accomplishments,” he says of the RNC chair, who he also says has “joined forces with those in the White House, media, and within the halls of Congress declaring war on our biblical foundations.”

This month’s must-pass spending bill gives the GOP another opportunity to try to kill President Obama’s health care law, but most Republican leaders are shying away from that, saying it’s not worth going to the brink of a shutdown over the 3-year-old law.
Last week the House cleared a stopgap funding bill that left money for the health law in place. Congressional conservatives have decried that decision, and have vowed to take a stand when the bill comes to the Senate floor this week.
