Subject: The Danger of Shopping at Target
Study Confirms: Target’s Bathroom Policy is Dangerous
File this under “Who didn’t see this coming?” According to a new study, reported sexual offenses have spiked since Target announced their “gender inclusive” policy of giving men access to women’s and girls’ bathrooms and changing rooms. Obviously, this is no surprise to Texas Values and our followers.
When men have access to women’s bathrooms and changing rooms these attacks on privacy are bound to happen. This is one of the main reasons why Texas Values fights against “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” (SOGI) policies that place women and children at risk. During this critical back to school season, parents should remember not to shop at Target and put their families at risk.

Religious Freedom Victory
A pro-abortion group has failed in an attempt to use a subpoena to get private church communication in a pro-life case, after a Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruling this week. Similar to when Houston subpoenaed pastors’ sermons, a pro-abortion group is trying to force the Catholic Church in Texas to turn over private church communication, violating religious freedom and suppressing free speech. We are proud to see the Fifth Circuit stand up to these intimidation tactics by protecting private church communication as required by Texas state law.
